Previous versions of Quicken do not have a reconciliation report printing feature, does Quicken for the Mac 2017 have this feature. I need to print reconciliation reports. I don't wish a workaround, I need the report printing capability. Can somebody answer this question?
It’s taken 7 years but Intuit finally released a new Quicken for Mac so we took a look at the good and bad in our Quicken 2015 for Mac review. Note: On 18 Nov 2015, Quicken 2015 for Mac was replaced by Quicken 2016 so go here for a review of the latest version of Quicken on Mac.

- edited August 2018It does not exist in QM2017. The work around is to sort your register by the CLR column (you need to change the settings to display it if it is not already visible). Then you can print the register.

I purchased QM2017 after using Quicken for Windows for 20 years. I never dreamed I wouldn't be able to print a reconciliation report like I have done for years! What a ridiculous thing to delete. I will be shopping for a new application that will fill my needs. So disappointed in Quicken. Thanks, I will NOT purchase the product until it does get a reconciliation report - edited April 2018
Quicken 2007 for Mac does allow you to print a reconciliation report. I cannot believe the report was deleted. The other item I noticed gone from the 2007 version was the ability to enter bank fees. Cannot understand why the Mac version cannot exactly replicate the windows version. Thanks, I will NOT purchase the product until it does get a reconciliation report - edited December 2016
As noted above, there is a crude work-around for the reconciliation report. Thanks, I will NOT purchase the product until it does get a reconciliation report
As for the missing fees, you can add your VOTE for the feature to Add ability to add service charge or interest during reconcile, here: https://getsatisfaction.com/quickencommunity/topics/add-ability-to-add-service-charge-or-interest-du...
First, click on the link above to go there, then click VOTE at the top of THAT page, so your will vote count for THIS feature and increase its visibility to the developers.
Be sure to also scroll down the page, and check out a link to a list of related features for the Reconciliation Process.

I also highly recommend that you browse through the IDEAS section of this forum and VOTE for the request of each of the missing features to be added back into Quicken for Mac....to help direct the priorities of the developers. Thanks, I will NOT purchase the product until it does get a reconciliation report
To do that, I suggest you read this FAQ on how to filter the IDEAS to just show the ones for the Mac version, then VOTE to your heart's content:

The following are some of the many feature requests you will find:- List of Requests for Report Related Features

If you do not click VOTE at the top of the page of each feature, your vote will NOT be counted for THAT specific feature!

This report is a break down of details on the reconciliation you just completed like an financial report that lists assets and liabilities. It begins with the starting balance and shows total cleared items (both credits and debits) and then lists each outstanding (again both credits and debits) and ending balance. This is produced in QM2007 at the end of the reconciliation; a window pops up and asks if you want to generate this report and either you do or you don't and it is not a saved event in history. This print out would be very helpful to have given the issues experienced of prior reconciliations after upgrades. Shoot, it's a feature that should be available period or Quicken would of never created in back then. You have to think of it like a worksheet that reports the detail of the recon. I used to have to fill one out manually back then each time I completed a recon at work. You can just attach it to your bank statement when your done. THIS IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT THAN THE RECONCILIATION HISTORY FUNCTION THAT SHOWS A RECON WAS COMPLETED AND BALANCED WITH THE ABILITY TO RE-RECONCILE.Thanks, I will NOT purchase the product until it does get a reconciliation report - edited August 2018The lack of a reconciliation report is one of the main reasons i regret purchasing QM2017 for my MacBook after 20+ years of using QW. The price of QM would have been better spent toward replacing my Windows laptop to keep running QW while using the MacBook for everything else.

If you find that QM2017 does not meet your needs, the alternative is to run Quicken for Windows in a virtual machine on your Mac. There are 5 popular products you can use: Parallels, VMWare Fusion, Oracle VirtualBox, Bootcamp or CrossOver. The first 4 require you to also buy a copy of Windows. The first 2 cost $50-80, the third and forth are free. CrossOver also costs about $50-$80 but does NOT require you to buy Windows. The lack of a reconciliation report is one of the main reasons i regret purchasing QM2017 for my MacBook after 20+ years of using QW. If you plan to keep your PC & Mac, you could also run Quicken on the PC and use remote access (several free options, e.g. NoMachine and Teamviewer) to access Quicken from your Mac (or even a tablet or phone) (see this great article for complete review of many options (most are free): http://machow2.com/rdp-for-mac/ ).
